During September all of the sites monitored experienced some failed requests, with Energis, New York Internet, Express Technologies and
INetU the most reliable sites during the period.
Outages caused by hurricanes and floods were absent from the list, however
Alabanza experienced a major outage due to an underground fire near its datacenter.
The dominant operating system was Windows, with six of the top most reliable sites running on a Microsoft operating system, evenly split between Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000.

Most Reliable Hosting Providers during August

During August all of the hosters monitored experienced some failed requests, with iPowerWeb, Italian hoster SeeWeb and Rackspace the most reliable sites during the period.
For the first time, Linux is the dominant operating system, with five of the top ten running their sites on a Linux distribution.

Most Reliable Hosting Providers during July

During July all of the hosters monitored experienced some failed requests, with three sites Pair Networks, Kattare.com, and Cee-Kay. sharing first place.
Operating systems used by the ten most reliable sites was quite mixed, with four running Linux, four FreeBSD and two Windows (Datapipe on Windows 2003 and EasyNet on Windows 2000).

Most Reliable Hosting Providers during June

During June all of the hosters monitored experienced an outage. Seeweb, an Italian hosting company, was once again the most reliable hoster, taking first place two months in a row. Second placed was the Pair Networks site.
This month the operating systems of the top 10 hosters was very mixed and varied, with three running Linux, three FreeBSD, two Windows (Myhosting.com on Windows 2003 and ExpressTechnologies on Windows 2000), one Solaris and one OpenBSD.

Most Reliable Hosting Providers during May
2nd June, 2004
During May, an Italian hosting company,Seeweb, was the most reliable of the hosting company sites we monitor. Second placed was the Jumpline site, which was top of the chart last month.
Linux and FreeBSD were evenly split amongst the top 10 sites with four sites each, with MyHosting.com running Windows Server 2003 and DellHost on Windows 2000.
